Background: HIV infection if not treated immediately can have serious impacts in the short or long term. All impacts caused by viral infections can be avoided by means of prevention efforts.
Objective: The study aims to determine the correlation between knowledge of PERMENKES (MINISTER OF HEALTH REGULATION) No. 23 of 2022 concerning on the prevention of HIV, AIDS, and STIs with HIV prevention attitudes among health workers at Central Surgical Installation (CSI) of RSUD (Regional General Hospital) dr. Harjono Ponorogo.
Methodology: This study employed a quantitative study with a correlation design using a cross-sectional approach. The sample of this study was all health workers who worked at CSI with a total sampling technique of 49 respondents. The data collection method performed using analytical observation; and data processing in this study conducted using the Spearman rank correlation test.
Results: Teachers have a basic understanding of disasters and megathrust earthquakes, but it is not yet fully scientific. Schools have SOPs, but their implementation is not evenly distributed. Factors that influence preparedness include self-efficacy, community support, experience, and psychological aspects.
Conclusion: The test results were obtained to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes of health workers with a coefficient correlation of 0.587 (moderate) and a p-value of 0.000 <0.05. The majority of respondents had a sufficient level of knowledge of 18 respondents (39.1%) and the majority of respondents had a sufficient attitude of 23 respondents (50.0%).
