Abstrak

Pendahuluan: Penurunan fleksibilitas otot hamstring merupakan salah satu faktor resiko terjadinya cedera pada atlet. Cedera musculotendinous merupakan kasus yang terjadi pada ekstremitas bawah terutama saat berolahraga dengan kecepatan tinggi atau intensitas tinggi. Latihan yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan fleksibilitas otot hamstring yaitu stretching exercise dan Nordic hamstring exercise. Tujuan Penelitian: Untuk mengetahui perbedaan pengaruh pemberian Stretching Exercise dan Nordic Hamstring Exercise terhadap peningkatan fleksibilitas otot hamstring pada pemain Got Game Basketball. Metode: Experimental dengan rancangan penelitian menggunakan pre test dan post test two group design. Hasil: Uji hipotesis I dan II menggunakan paired sample t-test menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh stretching exercise dan nordic hamstring exercise terhadap peningkatan fleksibilitas otot hamstring pada pemain basket (p=0,00). Uji hipotesis III menggunakan Independent Sample T-Test menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan pengaruh pemberian stretching exercise dan nordic hamstring exercise terhadap peningkatan fleksibilitas otot hamstring. Simpulan: Pemberian Stretching exercise dan Nordic hamstring exercise dapat meningkatkan flekisbbilitas otot hamstring, akan tetapi ketika kedua latihan tersebut dibandingkan, tidak terdapat perbedaan pengaruh diantara kedua jenis latihan tersebut terhadap peningkatan fleksibilitas otot hamstring. Saran: Penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan dapat melakukan analisis lebih lanjut mengenai latihan-latihan lain yang lebih bervariasi untuk meningkatkan fleksibilitas.

Introduction: Decreased hamstring muscle flexibility is one of the risk factors for injury in athletes. Musculotendinous injury is a case that occurs in the lower extremities especially when exercising at high speed or high intensity. Exercises that can be done to increase hamstring muscle flexibility are stretching exercise and Nordic hamstring exercise. Research Objective: The study aims to determine the difference in the effect of giving Stretching Exercise and Nordic Hamstring Exercise on increasing hamstring muscle flexibility in Got Game Basketball players. Method: The study employed experimental with research design using pre test and post test two group design. Results: Hypothesis tests I and II using paired sample t-test showed that there was an effect of stretching exercise and nordic hamstring exercise on increasing hamstring muscle flexibility in basketball players (p=0.00). Hypothesis test III using Independent Sample T-Test showed that there was no difference in the effect of stretching exercise and nordic hamstring exercise on increasing hamstring muscle flexibility. Conclusion: Stretching exercise and Nordic hamstring exercise can increase hamstring muscle flexibility, but when the two exercises are compared, there is no difference in the effect between the two types of exercise on increasing hamstring muscle flexibility. Suggestion: Future research is expected to conduct further analysis of other more varied exercises to increase flexibility
