Abstrak

Latar Belakang : Minimnya aktivitas fisik termasuk aspek yang menyebabkan peningkatan permasalahan kesehatan baik global maupun nasional, seperti obesitas, hipertensi, DM, depresi, kecemasan, dan penurunan tingkat percaya diri. Aktivitas fisik pada anak sekolah dasar merupakan komponen penting dalam mendukung kesehatan dan perkembangan yang optimal. Saat usia anak-anak, tubuh berumbuh secara fisik, sosial, dan juga kognitif yang pesat, yang membuat keterlibatan dalam aktivitas fisik tidak hanya berkontribusi pada kesehatan tubuh, tetapi juga perkembangan keterampilan sosial dan emosional.  Tujuan Penelitian : Untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh dari promosi aktivitas fisik dengan “School-Based Programs” untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan kesehatan dan aktivitas fisik pelajar SD usia 7-13 tahun di Yogyakarta. Metode Penelitian : Penelitian tergolong berjenis eksperimen melalui metode quasi eksperimental, yang dilakukan di SD Djoglo Tahfidz Sleman. Poulasi 120 siswa, pengampilan sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling dan didapati 120 siswa yang terdiri dari kelas 1-5 melalui interval usianya dari 7-13 tahun, berjenis kelamin laki-laki dan perempuan. Pengambilan data mempergunakan kuesioner Physical Activity Questionnaire For Children (PAQ-C), kuesioner Physical Literacy Knowledge Questionnaire (PLKQ), mengukur berat badan dan tinggi badan. Dalam menganalisis datanya dipergunakan uji K-Smirnov serta Statistic Non Parametric WilcoxonHasil Penelitian : Adanya pengaruh promosi aktivitas fisik dengan “school-based programs” untuk peningkatan pengetahuan kesehatan dan aktivitas fisik yang ditunjukan nilai p=0,000 yakni dibawah tingkatan signifikansinya berupa 0,05. Terjadi peningkatan nilai pengetahuan yaitu dari 53,4 menjadi 81,0 dan untuk aktivitas fisik yaitu dari 1,78 menjadi 4,07. Kesimpulan : Masih rendahnya aktivitas fisik di sekolah dasar dan program promosi aktivitas fisik pada anak terbukti dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan perilaku aktif siswa disekolah. Diperlukan kerjasama lintas sector antara pemerintah, petugas kesehatan dan akademisi untuk menggembangkan kurikulum sekolah yang ramah aktivitas fisik dan dapat meningkatkan status kesehatan siswa.
