Abstrak

Pendahuluan: Di Indonesia sebagian orang tua memiliki kebiasaan makan kurang baik. Sehingga, mempengaruhi kebiasaan makan anak dan berdampak buruk bagi kesehatan anak. Kebiasaan makan yang buruk juga dipengaruhi oleh keterampilan pengolahan makanan yang kurang yang salah satunya disebabkan karena ibu bekerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan keterampilan pengolahan makanan dengan panutan makan pada ibu balita bekerja di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian data sekunder dari penelitian utama yang berjudul Estimasi Status Gizi Balita Berdasarkan Role Model Makan, Food Skill, dan Demokratis Parenteral Feeding pada Ibu Balita Bekerja di daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta dari PKM-RSH (Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa Riset Sosial Humaniora) tahun 2023 dengan sampel sebanyak 211 ibu balita bekerja.
Metode: Pengambilan data variabel keterampilan pengolahan makanan menggunakan kuesioner home food preparation skil dan variabel panutan makan menggunakan kuesioner Musher-Eizenman’s Comprehensive Feeding Practices Questionnaire. Data tersebut diolah menggunakan metode analisis non parametrik dengan uji mann whitney dan menggunakan alat bantu softwere STATA 14.
Hasil: Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan keterampilan pengolahan makanan dengan panutan makan pada ibu balita bekerja di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai P value (0,0000) < alpha (0,05) Conclusions and suggestions: Diperlukan penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai penyebab hubungan keterampilan pengolahan makanan dengan panutan makan pada ibu balita bekerja.
