Abstract

Latar Belakang: keseimbangan merupakan komponen penting dalam menunjag aktivitas fisik remaja, khususnya pada usia sekolah yang ditandai dengan proses pertumbuhan dan perkembangan sistem neuromuscular. Perubahan postur tubuh serta kurangnya Latihan fisik yang terstruktur dapat mempengaruhi kemampuan keseimbangan remaja dan meningkatkan resiko gangguan stabilitas tubuh. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan intervensi Latihan fisik yang terprogram, seperti Latihan core stability dan Latihan agility, untuk meningkatkan keseimbangan remaja secara optimal. Tujuan Penelitian: untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan pengaruh Latihan core stability dan agility terhadap peningkatan keseimbangan remaja Smp Negeri 3 Mlati. Metodelogi penelitian: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan desain pre test dan post test two group design. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 30 responden  yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok I yang di berikan Latihan core stability dan kelompok II yang diberikan Latihan agility. Latihan diberikan selama 4 minggu dengas frekuensi 3 kali dalam seminggu. Penelitian dilakukan pada remaja usia 12-15 tahun di SMP Negeri 3 Mlati, Kabupaten Sleman, daerah istimewah Yogyakarta. Alat ukur keseimbangan yang digunakan adalah functional reach test (FRT). Analisis data meliputi Uji Normalitas dan menggunakan Shapiro-Wilk Test, Uji Homogenitas menggunakan Levene’s Test, Uji Hipotesis I dan II menggunakan Paired Sampel T-Test, serta Uji Hipotesis III menggunakan Independent Sampel T-Test. Hasil penelitian: Menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keseimbangan setelah pemberian Latihan core stability dan Latihan agility. Uji Paired Sampel T-Test pada kelompok core stability menunjukkan nilai p = 0,000 (p < 0,05) sehingga terdapat pengaruh signifikan. Uji Paired Sampel T-Test menunjukkan nilai p = 0,024 (p < 0,05), yang berarti terdapat perbedaan pengaruh antara Latihan core stability dan Latihan agility terhadap peningkatan keseimbangan remaja. Kesimpulan: Terdapat perbedaan pengaruh Latihan core stability dan Latihan agility sama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan keseimbangan remja, namun Latihan core stability memberikan peningkatan keseimbangan yang lebih besar di bandingkan Latihan agility terhadap peningkatan keseimbangan remaja di SMP Negeri 3 Mlati. Saran: Bagi peneliti selanjutnya  dapat menggunakan Latihan core stability dan Latihan agility untuk meningkatkan keseimbangan remaja.
