Abstract

Digital image repetition analysis is a systematic process to categorize and determine image repetition. Based on initial observations, there has been no photo repetition analysis and no image repetition analysis. Therefore, the author is interested in conducting further research on the analysis of radiograph image repetition in the digital radiography (DR) modality at the Radiology Installation of Dr. R Soetijono Blora Hospital. This study aims to determine the percentage of digital image repetition, factors causing repetition, and efforts to minimize the number of repetitions. The research sample was the number of digital images that experienced repetition during March - May 2024. Data was obtained through direct observation for three months. Data analysis was carried out using a formula to be compared with the tolerance limits of the Ministry of Health. This type of research is a descriptive quantitative research with a case study approach carried out at the Radiology Installation of Dr. R Soetijono Blora Hospital from January 2024 to August 2024. The data collection methods used were observation, interviews, documentation and other sources. Data analysis in the form of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, discussion and then conclusions were drawn. The results of the study showed the percentage of digital image repetition in the Radiology Installation of Dr. R Soetijono Blora Hospital. R. Soetijono Blora by 2.75%. Factors causing digital image repetition are cut objects (80.9%), positioning (10.9%), artifacts (5.4%), exposure factors (1.4%), moving objects (0.7%), and error tools (0.7%). Efforts to minimize the number of image repetitions include better communication with patients, improving radiographer skills through seminars or webinars, and regular maintenance and repair of tools.
